God’s Grace For An Undeserving Nation

After everything that God had done for the Israelites, Exodus 32 illustrates how easily they forgot their promise to obey God (Exodus 19:8). They made a golden calf and worshiped it. Because the Israelites chose to turn away from God, Moses interceded and asked for forgiveness. He reminded God of His promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He even asked God to blot out his own name from the Book of Life, rather than forget His chosen people.
More than what Moses did for his people, Jesus gave His life for our salvation. We don’t deserve His grace, but He has redeemed and saved us by His blood on the cross. How do you feel about this amazing story of love and grace? Share your thoughts with us in the comment box.
