Pray and ask Jesus to give you more self-control and with His Holy Spirit power you will begin to change . . . one thought, one word, one action at a time!

Proverbs 16:32 KJV
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

People who cannot control their anger often hurt themselves and other people. I know this from personal experience. I used to have a hard time, when I was upset and can’t control my temper. I’d often get into fights.

Proverbs 15:1 KJV
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

The Holy Spirit power van help us to conquer any storm–yes, even the storm within ourselves the self control.

2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Temperance is a must in terms of work , food, what we watch and hear. We Self control on what we think, read and do. Some of those will be helpful and healthy but too much of a good thing can end up being a bad thing.

1 Corinthians 9:25 KJV
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
