EVENING WORSHIP AND 777 PRAYER HOUR*

*EVENING WORSHIP AND 777 PRAYER HOUR*

Welcome, welcome dear Brethren to our Evening Online Worship Program πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

When Cain saw that his offering was rejected, he was angry with the Lord and with Abel. his feeling out of anger resulted in murdering his own brother.

Abel chose faith and obedience; Cain, unbelief and rebellion. God gives us a choice to obey or disobey Him. Whom will you choose to serve today? Which side are you? Time to ruminate.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 KJV

Let’s talk to God in Prayer with a humble heart πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Dear God,

Please be in our midst tonight as we contemplate the life of Cain and Abel, the crime committed of being outrageous, jealous and rebellious. Please lead us, teach us that We may follow thee Faithfully and Wholeheartedly in Jesus’ name we humbly pray with thanksgiving. Amen and Amen πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

For our opening passage tonight πŸ“–πŸ“–πŸ“– let’s ruminate together πŸ“–πŸ™β€οΈ

Cain hated and killed his brother, not for any wrong that Abel had done, but “because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” 1 John 3:12. So in all ages the wicked have hated those who were better than themselves. Abel’s life of obedience and unswerving faith was to Cain a perpetual reproof. “Everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” John 3:20. The brighter the heavenly light that is reflected from the character of God’s faithful servants, the more clearly the sins of the ungodly are revealed, and the more determined will be their efforts to destroy those who disturb their peace. PP 74.2

Welcome Dear Brethren to our Singspiration time πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

For our opening hymn shall we all sing

468 – A Child of the King

Major Key: Eβ™

1
My Father is rich in houses and lands,
He holdeth the wealth of the world in His hands!
Of rubies and diamonds, of silver and gold,
His coffers are full, He has riches untold.

CHORUS:
I’m a child of the King,
A child of the King:
With Jesus my Savior,
I’m a child of the King.

2
My Father’s own Son, the Savior of men,
Once wandered on earth as the poorest of them;
But now He is pleading our pardon on high,
That we may be His when He comes by and by.

3
I once was an outcast, a stranger on earth,
A sinner by choice, an alien by birth,
But I’ve been adopted, my name’s written down,
An heir to a mansion, a robe and a crown.

4
A tent or a cottage, O why should I care?
They’re building a palace for me over there;
Though exiled from home, yet still may I sing:
All glory to God, I’m a child of the King.
