*EVENING WORSHIP AND 777 PRAYER HOUR*
Good evening everyone🙋. Let us prepare ourselves for worship. We welcome all are members both here and abroad.
The tower of Babel
Men who thought, they were above all.
Built a high tower, and it was tall.
For they said, “let us make a name for ourselves, less we be scattered abroad.” But the tower to Heaven did not please God.
For with one language, they would not be restrained.
They could do anything imaginable, if not contained.
So, God had confounded their speech. And they couldn’t understand each other’s words, nor preach.
God confounded their language and scattered them abroad. And every tribe stood and awed. And in each language, they did sing, “There is none like God, our King!”

Memory Text📖: “Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth” (Genesis 11:9, NKJV).
Opening Passage✍️
After the Flood, the biblical account shifts from the focus on the single individual, Noah, to his three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The particular attention on Ham, the father of Canaan (Genesis 10:6, Genesis 10:15), introduces the idea of “Canaan,” the Promised Land (Genesis 12:5), an anticipation of Abraham, whose blessing will go to all nations (Genesis 12:3).

524 – ‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
Major Key: G
1
‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.
CHORUS:
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!
2
O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me
‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
3
Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.
4
I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.
