MORNING DEVOTION
TITLE: GOD HAS A PLACE OF SERVICE FOR YOU!
READING: “And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.” Matthew 20:4 (KJV)
DEVOTION: The vineyard in the opening scripture represents the Kingdom of God. In this parable, the owner of the vineyard went out at different times to employ laborers to work in his vineyard. At the end of the day, he paid the latecomers full wages (Matthew 20:8–10). Though the laborers who were hired first were not happy with their wages, that was what they had agreed on before they started work.
The kingdom of God is very big and has a lot of places of service (Luke 17:20–21). As a child of God, have you asked yourself what kind of service you are rendering to God? Be concerned about the kingdom of God. Even in the church, there are areas you could serve, such as ushering, teaching, playing an instrument, singing, cleaning, etc. Don’t think you have nothing to offer—there is something in you that could be of service to God. Find it and serve joyously, and God will bless you. Praise the Lord! Be service-conscious!
PRAYER POINT: My dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for having a place of service for everyone in Your Kingdom. Please lead me to find my place of service and serve You faithfully in order to be a blessing to others. Amen!
BLESSED MONDAY MORNING
