GOD FIRST (Cleansing Reunites Us With God)

Leviticus chapter 14 provides the instruction for the redemption of those who had suffered from skin diseases and instructions to allow them to re-enter society after being healed and declared “clean”.

Can you imagine the joy of the family, friends, and community when the person who was separated because of disease was pronounced clean or healed? After the process of purification, the healed person could go back to normal life, reunited with their family and the community.

Such will be the experience of the children of God when Jesus comes. We were separated from God because of sin but, through Jesus’ sacrifice, we can be healed and have the opportunity to live with God again. Jesus makes it possible for us to be forgiven, cleansed, and live eternally with God in heaven.
