The more unforgiving you are, the more bitter you will become. Hurts and betrayals are like wounds. They are painful. You can never forgive people by your strength. Why let people that hurt or betray you set you on a direction that leads to hell? They can ask God to forgive them of all their sins, while you go to hell because you think you are right by not forgiving them. It doesn’t mean they can remain your friends but first forgive because of your soul. Remember Jesus says in Matthew 5:7: you will receive mercy when you are merciful. My prayer for you this night is that you will become a merciful person through Jesus Christ.
