The sixth chapter of Numbers gives God’s instructions on how to be a “Nazarite”, or, how to consecrate one’s life to the Lord. It was a commitment to develop an intimate spiritual experience and seek to please God with every word and action. Nazarites were encouraged to pray for blessings and God’s divine presence every day.
