Sabbath Blessings!

The Sabbath is so special. Did you know that we cannot keep the Sabbath holy unless we are holy? Did you know that the Sabbath is a sign of Jesus’ power to make us holy? Did you know that observing the Sabbath means to partake in Christ’s righteousness through faith?

Looking at the Sabbath through new eyes:

“In order to keep the Sabbath holy, men must themselves be holy. Through faith they must become partakers of the righteousness of Christ.” As the Jews departed from God, and failed to make the righteousness of Christ their own by faith, the Sabbath lost its significance to them.

“He said, ‘I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them,’ make them holy. Ezekiel 20:12. Then the Sabbath is a sign of Christ’s power to make us holy. And it is given to all whom Christ makes holy.”
