GOD FIRST (Fulfillment Of God’s Promise)

The land of Canaan had specific boundaries, encompassing an important portion of land. Israel had to reach those boundaries through conquest. The boundaries would become useful indicators of Israel’s faithfulness. They helped Israel see the that the land they were going to inherit was a very tangible fulfillment of God’s promise (Gen 12:7; 15:18-20).
