This Morning our Message 📖 prepared by Mom Rosa Isoto Armean
Good morning Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Our manna this morning is entitled:
“WHEN WE PRAY”
One of them…came back, praising God in a loud voice (Lk.17:15).
It is probably accurate to state that a large percentage of people’s prayers consist of requests. We are always asking things of God: we pray for healing, for guidance, for deliverance from our distress, for peace and for God to provide in our needs.
Prayer encompasses matters as diverse as journeys, the weather, family life and business ventures. We seek God’s help in matters pertaining to the church as well as the state. Ponder this matters for a moment, analyze your own prayers and you may find that the above description is fairly accurate.
There is nothing wrong with this, because our Lord Himself invited us to come to Him with our needs. However, what is our response when God answers our prayers? How do we react when He, in His infinite wisdom, does not give us what we ask for? Or when He gives us something different from what we asked?
Paul encourages us to present our requests to God in thanksgiving, so that we may experience the peace that surpasses understanding (Phil. 4:6). This is the key to true prayer and a life of fulfillment.
When we lay our prayers before the Lord, leave it to Him and He will. Be grateful that He hears and understands you. Know that in His own perfect time and in His own unique way He will answer in a way that is best for you. Gratefully accept everything that God bestows upon you from His house of treasures and be content with His will.
Amen.
Please continue to pray for Breanna Sieler she is now in her 2nd chemo therapy. And for Hadassah her mother to stay strong in their journey.
Thank you.
May God bless us abundantly.
Have a happy day everyone.
