It’s Heaven! Do You Want to Go?

Hebrews 11:13-14 KJV
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. [14] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

IT WAS A SPECIAL DAY for our church the worship service was presented by a guest preacher, there was an afternoon musical program and evening meeting Between the afternoon and evening programs we went home for a few hours to rest and have our evening meat. Our son and daughter in law and their two children came along, and as we were sitting around the table our almost 3 year-old granddaughter, Brianna, saw a magazine with heaven pictured on cover lying on the table. She looked at it, grabbed it, jumped off her chair, and ran to where I was sitting, saying excitedly. “Grandma, it’s heaven? Do you wanna go Then she ran to my husband and said. “Poppy-look-it’s heaven! Do you want to go with me?” She worked her way around the table to her daddy, mommy, and brother, and with her cute little voice, so very happy and excited, her eyes shining and her face beaming, exclaimed that it was heaven-did we want to come along
with her to have? Brianna is now almost 8, but I will forever remember that experience of her being so very excited about the beautiful picture of heaven. She was already planning on going, and she invited us all to come along
Am that excited about going home to heaven? Yes, pea! I can’t wait! I am eager
to leave this world for a much better place. am excited like Brianna-1 want to go to heaven with all my family.

What a homecoming it will be to see family members who are no longer with us, but most of all, what a joy to be our Lord and Savior, who came to this earth. leaving that gorgeous heavenly home for this earth, full of sin and suffering, to die for us so we can go home eternally to such a wonderful place-heaven! Let’s live each day anticipating this grand event-going home! Do you wanna go?

Let us be encouraged by the thought that the Lord is soon to come to take us to the heavenly home. Let this hope gladden our hearts. we are homeward bound dear Brethren. Are you excited to be in heaven soon?
