GOD FIRST (Never Forget God’s Goodness)

God commanded the Israelites to keep the festivals that reminded them of their Exodus experience. They were to remember and appreciate that it was God who freed them from slavery and guided them to the Promised Land. With thanksgiving, they would be ready to accept His provisions for their future.
