“It’s Time to Return to Prayer”

Let’s focus our ears and hearts to the word of God through Bro. ND Willie

Good morning brethren❤️.My message this morning is entittled,”It’s Time to Return to Prayer”

To the church of Ephesus the Lord said to him: “I have against you that you have left your first love”. It is necessary to evaluate the condition of our love for God, for the Scripture also says that in the last times evil will multiply and the love of many will be cooled, but blessed is he who, when his Lord comes, I found him seeking his presence …

1. We must accept that we are one body in Christ (1 Kings 18: 30a).

“And Elijah said to all the people, Come near to me. And all the people came unto him ” In times of great idolatry in Israel, the worship of Baal had multiplied, so that the king and his queen (Jezebel) held the priests of Baal and Asherah. At that time, by the guidance of God, the prophet Elijah challenges false priests and prophets so that on Mount Carmel the glory of the true God may be revealed. .

2. Self-examination is necessary (1 Kings 18: 30b).

“And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was ruined” The Bible keeps telling us, “He fixed the altar that was ruined.” The prophet Elijah valued the condition of that altar that was on Mount Carmel. Formerly it had been very used, but at that time Israel had neglected its communion with God and Baal had occupied that space, because the ruined or neglected altar allows the kingdom of Jezebel.

3. Your family is a powerful reason to seek God (1 Kings 18:31).

“And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name” Here we see a significant action of the prophet, he takes twelve stones according to the sons of Jacob, who had received the word of God. These stones tell us about family, initially he mentions Jacob and his children. The Lord through his word had revealed a great plan with them, for he would raise through this family a nation for his purposes: Israel. Your prayer preserves and protects God’s plans for your children.

No matter how strong is your foe, how mighty and powerful but God is greater that can defeat the enemy. He is mighty, all powerful ,will defend you and always available for help.

Psalm 91:2,4-5 KJV
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. [4] He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. [5] Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Have a joyful new week to you all 🙏🙏🙏
