Jonah prayed and acknowledged his sinfulness

Jonah prayed and acknowledged his sinfulness and rebellion and recounted God’s faithfulness and mercy. He made a vow to the Lord.

Psalm 34:8 KJV
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

When we’re stuck in a certain situation we can’t see the forest for the trees . We can’t always see things clearly and objectively. We need to take a step back and analyse things with the different glasses on. Sometimes asking advice from a trusted confidant will prove helpful because they’re outside of a situation.

Isaiah 55:6-9 KJV
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: [7] Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. [8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. [9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 34:17-19 KJV
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. [18] The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. [19] Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Have a joyful morning everyone 🙏🙏🙏
