To one person the world is desolate, dull and empty; to another the same world looks rich, interesting and full of meaning. When you see the world as your temporary home, you don’t think too much on worldly things. Your heart and focus will be on heavenly treasures. We are in the world but not of the world (John 15:19). This temporary world is the place you need to get your ticket (SALVATION) for you to get to heaven which is your permanent home. Therefore, don’t be misled by the pleasures of this world.
