For the fact that many people are doing wrong things does not mean you should do the same. You need to separate yourself from anything that will kindle the wrath of God against you. In 2 Kings 22:1-20, because King Josiah humbled himself (vs 19) and refused to walk, and do the doctrine of his forefathers, God did not allow him to see the evil that He is going to bring upon his country. You always have the choice to say no to sin even if the majority of people are involved.
