As children of God we are expected not to avenge ourselves because that should be reserved for the Lord. Our actions should reflect the nature of Christ. Christ expects us to be different from the unbelievers. The unbelievers do not truly forgive people when they are hurt but God expects us to forgive, love and even pray for them. He expects us to feed our enemies when they are hungry and give them drink when they are thirsty (Proverbs 25:21). These are some of the persecutions we must face in our Christianity. Don’t be afraid, He will help you to overcome all the persecutions that will come your way when you commit them into His hands. My prayer for you today is that you will receive the grace to always forgive in Jesus’ Name.
