When things go wrong, do you go with them? James 4:17 says: therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do, and does not do it, to him it is sin. You are not helping people when you can’t tell them the truth when they are wrong. They might hate you for that moment but later, they will love you. They might make you their enemy for a while but later, they will make you their best friend. Many Christians have partaken in the sin that they did not commit just because they refused to say the truth to people. You might lose people (good or bad) for telling them the truth but it will save your soul from hell.
